Common questions

I lost my credits / switched devices

The app uses an anonymous device identifier. If you change devices or reinstall, tap Restore Purchases on the in-app Credits screen. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID, your App Store purchases will be restored.

Invitation generation failed

AI generation can occasionally fail. In that case the credit spent is refunded automatically. If the issue persists, email info@daveto.app; mentioning the time of the error and the event type helps us resolve it faster.

I'm not happy with the result

AI produces a different design each time. You can regenerate with the same inputs for a different result (each generation costs 1 credit). Changing the style or uploading a reference photo also significantly affects the output.

Purchase refunds

Credits are digital content, so we don't issue refunds directly. To request a refund via Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. When Apple approves a refund, the corresponding credits are deducted from your account.

I want to delete my account

You can use Settings → Delete Account inside the app, or email info@daveto.app. Purchased credits are not refunded after deletion.

Removing the watermark

Free invitations carry a small Daveto watermark. To remove it, tap Remove Watermark on the invitation preview screen (costs 1 credit). The change is permanent for that invitation.

Sharing or printing issues

Daveto produces WhatsApp-optimized PNGs and high-resolution PDFs for printing. If you run into trouble sharing or printing, mention your device model and iOS version in your email.
